Just solutions were contracted by Twycross Zoo to undertake temporary car park works to two large grass car parks.

Both areas were stripped and excavated, weed membrane applied and hard-core base installed with Tarmac planning’s laid and rolled as a temporary but solid car park.

Just solutions provided a new giraffe enclosure with some new fencing works.

The compound needed to be hard standing for the giraffe’s, the area had been used previously and was unfortunately completed incorrectly by a previous contractor instructed by the Zoo. Just solutions were able to strip back this area and install correct land drains to run off ditches and supply and lay a compacted hardstand suitable for the giraffe’s daily walks and outdoor activities.

Provided new Lemur walkthrough

We also provided the Zoo with a new Lemur walkthrough area, the project was completely designed and installed by our teams to provide on what was once an open field and picnic area a complete Lemur walk through where the public can walk in amongst the Lemurs, the work consisted of complete new perimeter fencing, 2 new log cabin entrance and exit points and also pathways and edgings and electric fence installations.
